SUPPORT CREW GUIDE

SUPPORT CREW RULES:

The Sydney Trail Marathon welcomes support crews and spectators throughout the race and course. You’re a huge part of what makes race day so special

However, you don’t want to be the reason your runners gets disqualified or a time penalty. To avoid this, please follow all of the following support crew race rules:

  • Support crews can only assist their runners within aid station boundaries

  • Cheering is allowed anywhere on course, but no assistance is allowed outside of aid stations

  • Assistance includes giving nutrition, filling bottles, passing gear, or any other items

  • Pacing is not allowed. Running with your runner for more than 200 metres counts as pacing

  • Any runner receiving outside support or pacing may be disqualified or given a time penalty

  • Parking / Directions: The halfway aid station for STM 21 is found at the start hub, at Eric Mobbs Reserve.

  • Distance: The aid station is found at halfway at 21.5kms
